IWT, the Institute for the promotion of innovation by science and technology in Flanders is a governmental agency, established by the Flemish Government in 1991. Athena Research and Innovation Centre in Information Communication & Knowledge / Corallia Clusters Initiative Unit

Corallia is a Unit of the Research and Innovation Centre Athena established in Greece to underpin and accelerate the development of sustainable innovation ecosystems in specific sectors and regions of the country with a global competitive advantage. Corallia has supported, up to date, the development of three highly-specialised Innovation clusters with more than 152 members: the mi-Cluster (microelectronics/IoT), the si-Cluster (space) and the gi-Cluster (creative industries). Additionally, Corallia facilitates the hyper-concentration of cluster members in two thematic Business Innovation Centres to accelerate synergies, bonding of cluster members and establish reference points for the sectors it supports: the α2-innohub in Athens and the π1-innohub in Patras. Corallia also implements a series of initiatives to stimulate youth entrepreneurship, including the most prominent accelerator in Greece, the egg-enterˑgrowˑgo with Eurobank, the Educational Trip in cooperation with Greek student associations at highly acknowledged universities worldwide, Hackathons, Internships Days, Networking Days and many more. Finally, Corallia demonstrates strong engagement in European cluster policy bodies and has established key-strategic international collaborations. Corallia is awarded for its management processes with an ISO 9001:2008 certificate by TUV NORD CERT, is a member of EBN, was awarded with the EU|BIC certificate (benchmarked against quality-certified business support organisations worldwide) and was also awarded with the Gold Label of Cluster Management Excellence for the gi-Cluster and si-Cluster and Silver Label for the mi-Cluster.
